A Tour to MGM Studios


MGM Studios in LA is home to many historical stages, props and costumes. The studios are no longer in use but tours are available for visitors. It is believed that the tour provides an insight into how movies were actually made in Hollywood’s ‘Golden Age’.
There are various tour packages available, including behind-the-scenes studio car tours, walking tours, trolley tours and back lot tours. The most popular tour is the tram tour, which takes visitors on a journey around the lot, past famous film sets and sound stages.
Guests can also visit the MGM gift shop, which stocks exclusive movie merchandise, including clothing, accessories, toys and collectibles. There is also a concession stand, which is open to the public.

Studio Car Tour


The Studio Car tour provides an in-depth look into Hollywood’s ‘Golden Age’. The tour then proceeds to the back lot, where visitors can see sets from famous movies and TV shows, including The Wizard of Oz, Gremlins and Star Trek: Voyager.
The tour also includes a visit to Hollywood Boulevard, where visitors can see the Hollywood Walk of Fame and celebrities’ handprints.

Walking Tour
