Kat Smo’s music has a distinct influence from each of these cities she’s lived in. Since the age of 5, music has been her creative outlet, writing songs and performing in front of her family. Her influences include Fiona Apple, Radiohead, Muse and Ella Fitzgerald.

Kat Smo attended art school at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and has also enjoyed a successful modeling career, but her heart lies in music.
Already an accomplished artist, singer, songwriter and pianist, she has returned to Nashville to work with award winning songwriter Robb Royer of seventies hit factory Bread to pursue her music career full time.

She is currently writing and recording in the Nashfilms Records studios and will have samples of her new music avaialble soon!
